Whether you are a refugee, immigrant, or resident from another country, welcome to West Michigan! West Michigan is a great place to live and it is better because you live here. The Friendship Center is a gathering space and a resource place for you. Here you will meet others from your culture and new American friends. We cannot imagine the changes and challenges you are facing, but you are not alone. We are here to help you and your family find success. We want to meet and learn from you!

At the Center we offer:

Community. Come and have coffee, tea, and snacks, meet Americans, share meals, play games, watch movies, bring your family, and find rest for yourself and your children!

Connections. Learn about life in America, find helpful resources and supplies, and get involved as a volunteer!

Conversations. Talk with friends, join our classes and groups, use our computers, get answers to questions about life here, and practice your English. Call ahead and stop in!
Because of the generosity of others, there is no cost for any of this! And because we respect each individual’s own beliefs and practices, we welcome everyone. Come find out what’s here. We care for you!

English Classes! Beginner, Intermediate and advanced classes Call the Center for more information. Currently Friday morning 10-11:30 am.
Every Thursday: Women’s Group! Women, join us every Thursday 10:00 AM – 12 PM for conversation, crafts, and more! Child care is provided.
Every Friday: Community Meal!
Join us Friday’s 6:30 – 9:00 PM at the Center for a meal. Bring friends and family. There is no charge!
MEET THE STAFF
Laura Cronin, our director, leads the Center. She brings thirteen years of experience working with people from different backgrounds, nationalities, and religions showing love and care to everyone. She looks forward to meeting you!
